November

  • November 15 - Starting Point. To learn more about Alice Drive. This is a required class for all new members and the class is also extremely informative for those who may be interested in future membership. Starting Point is designed to be an informal gathering where you will enjoy a complimentary meal and learn about Alice Drive's vision and purpose. Complimentary child care is provided. Starting Point will meet on November 15, 2009 at 5:00pm in McManus Hall. Contact Patti Bryan for further information.
  • November 22 - Lord's Supper Observance. We will celebrate and remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us through the observance of the Lord's Supper in all three services.
  • November 22 - Church Wide Thanksgiving Meal. Join us at 5:00 pm for a church wide Thanksgiving dinner in the Worship Center. The church will provide the turkey. Bring a side dish and join us for a time of fun and fellowship. Contact Patti Bryan for more information.

December

  • December 7 - PowerLunch. Come join other businessmen and businesswomen for lunch and a special message by Dr. Clay Smith who is teaching a yearlong series on Next Level Confidence. December's topic is "Train and Trust: Never Try." Lunch is $6.00. For more information contact Mary Smyrl.
  • December 11, 12, and 13 - Sumter Christmas Production. This year's production is titled "The Risk." Join us as we see the story of Jesus Christ come alive on stage. Show times are 7:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a matinee on Sunday at 4:00 pm. Contact Sarah Lee for more information.
  • December 17 - Special Needs Banquet. Each year we are are privileged to host the special needs community of Sumter county for a banquet in their honor at Christmas time. This is a great time for you to come out and serve others as they enjoy a special night at Christmas. Contact Mark Partin for more information.

  • December 23 and 24 - Christmas at Alice Drive. Come together with others from the Sumter Community for a special service celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Services start each night at 7:00 pm.

January

  • January 3 - Powerlunch. Come join other businessmen and businesswomen for lunch and a special message by Dr. Clay Smith who is teaching a yearlong series on Next Level Confidence. January's topic is "Pick a Small Target." Lunch is $6.00. For more information contact Mary Smyrl.
  • January 6 - Wednesday Night Spring Semester Kickoff. We will resume regular Wednesday night activities including AWANA for preschoolers and children, the Mix for Students, and Trulife and discipleship classes for adults. Each night begins at 5:15 pm with the Fellowship Meal and all other activities begin at 6:00 pm.
  • January 13 - 16 - Family Ski Trip. This is a chance for your entire family to go skiing together at Winterplace, WV. Cost is $250 each and includes 3 nights lodging, 3 days of skiing and transportation. A $100 deposit is due December 1. Contact Nathan Waganer for more information.

  • January 23 - PG Weekend. If you need "parental guidance" with your kids, this is the event for you. We will have breakout sessions discussing topics on parenting to help you find the answers to your questions. The event runs from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Cost is $5.00 per person and includes lunch.   • February 6 - ADBC Flag Football Tournament. Recruit your team now for the 3rd annual flag football tournament. Each team can have between 7 and 10 players each. Cost per team is $50 which includes lunch and a t-shirt for each player. Contact Nathan Waganer for more information.
